Navigon – Promotion and Data Collection

Navigon have one of the most innovative product lineups on todays Satellite Navigation market. In order to improve their share of the UK market, Navigon came with a brief which outlined a need for representation at UK consumer exhibitions throughout the calendar year.

Operating within a highly competitive marketplace presents a number of challenges, chiefly being able to stand aside from rival brands. Attending the Gadget Show, which is the UK’s largest consumer electronics event of the calendar year, being seen and maximising the impact of the brand was key.

Thanks to a successful working relationship with Gadget Show Live organisers, Sterling Daisy were able to secure a prime stand location within viewing distance of the main show entrance. As well as manning the stand with trained sales staff, we ran a prize draw giveaway in which visitors were entered into a competition to win a Navigon GPS system, in exchange for signing up to a Navigon newsletter with their email address.

Throughout the week, we managed to add over 4,500 new potential customers to the newsletter. We don’t think that without the right staff who are experienced in promotions and data collection, we would have achieved anything like this figure. Sterling Daisy were approachable, engaging and represented the Navigon brand in the correct manor and acted as a draw to the stand for passing visitors.

Furthermore as an additional bonus,  six lucky entrants received a brand new Navigon sat nav in the post the following week!
